Support Newark Students traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina, for the Annual National Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) Competition.
The ACT-SO Mission is to provide an academic and cultural student enrichment mentoring program.
Newark ACT-SO has been consistently mentoring high school students for the past 34 years. All of our mentors are professionals who volunteer their time and expertise to encourage scholastic and artistic excellence.
The national ACT-SO competition will be held from July 12-16. 2025. Students will compete for awards and cash prizes.
We ask for your assistance in helping us raise funds to finance our expenses.
